Here at Wan Wan, we do not want for anyone to be made uncomfortable, and so there are certain rules that must be followed. This board in particular has specific rules that must be known about and followed, given the genre. It is a known fact that many items falling into the 'romance' genre often pose the possibility of sexual content being introduced, which is not permitted here.
Failure to comply to the following rules will result in a warning. If the behavior is not corrected, our staff team will be forced to take action. You can read more about what to expect in response to a rule break in our Site Rules.
Threads that are centered around the idea of romance are, by all means, permitted. What is not allowed is threads consisting of descriptive sexual material. This does not include jokes, or the mention of sexual intercourse, however. You are not restricted from mentioning that such a thing took place, or hinting that something to that degree happened. It is writing everything out, word for word, that is not allowed.
'Fade-to-Black' threads will not break this rule, just as long as you do not take things too far before fading. This is a community that houses minors, who probably do not want to read borderline porn.
If you are unfamiliar with what a 'Fade-to-Black' thread is, it is basically the same as time-skipping. Instead of continuing on with typing out your character's every action, you would 'fade' away, and then start back up at a later time in the roleplay.
Furthermore, forcing a fellow member to partake in a thread that they find uncomfortable is forbidden. We want our members to feel safe, so do not hesitate to say 'no' if someone requests a thread idea you are no okay with.
If you are discovered pestering someone about an idea after they've already said no to, you will receive a warning. Doing so would be harassment and, once again, we want for our members to feel safe.
This may be updated and/or altered as time goes on. If at any time you are unsure about whether or not something would qualify as a rule break, please feel free to message a member of the staff.
